Feasting by the Riverside (formerly “Sacraments Day”) is a day-long workshop for Elders, Deacons, and Church Leaders to deepen their love and understanding of the sacraments.

Featuring Keynote Speaker and Special Guest: Dr. Sue Rozeboom
Sue A. Rozeboom is a native of West Michigan. Upon graduating from Holland Christian Schools, she obtained a BA in music from Calvin College, an MTS from Calvin Seminary, and a PhD in Liturgical Studies from the University of Notre Dame. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Western Theological Seminary, where she and students together delve deeply into topics such as the Trinity and Christian Worship, the Holy Spirit and the Sacraments, historical Christian practices and what we can learn from them for the church today. In 2013 Sue was ordained Minister of the Word in the Christian Reformed Church in North America. Sue is married to Paul J. Rozeboom, who grew up in Washington, earned degrees from Calvin College and Western Michigan University, and is now an engineer and business leader in an engineering/architectural firm. They have two elementary-school-aged children, Liesl and Annemarie, who, among other things, love the outdoors, books, Legos, fairies, and ballet.

Cost for this event is $10 per person OR $30 per church group, payable at the event.
