FRC Schenectady is looking for a person to coordinate and lead youth and young adult programing as part of a dynamic team of lay leaders and clergy. In addition, this person will be responsible for managing the communication tools of the congregation and be a part of the worship, education, and social life of the church. New Hope Community Church is located in Aurora, Colorado, a growing suburb of Denver. We seek a new senior pastor who will first and foremost be an individual that models integrity and will be an articulate advocate and communicator for the vision of God’s church and for the glory of God. This person will be the primary leader and teacher, who will have a broad responsibility for the spiritual welfare, growth, and life of the church in all areas including discipleship, evangelism and equipping the congregation for service. Preferred candidates will embody the essence of a servant leader and have the skills to shepherd an older church population while attracting new members with a balanced ministry that reflects an appreciation of people with diverse backgrounds and a variety of worship experiences. A minimum of five years of pastoral and teaching experience in a multi-staff church/para-church setting is required as well as a Masters level training or equivalent.

Niskayuna Reformed Church, Director of Handbells/Chimes
The Niskayuna Reformed Church has an immediate opening for a Director of Handbells/Chimes, a key contributor to the music ministry of the Niskayuna Reformed Church, in partnerships with the Director of Music, the other music staff, the Pastor, and the Worship Committee of Consistory.
Responsibilities of the position include managing and directing the Een Dracht Bell Choir with 4.5 octaves of handbells. Rehearsals to be scheduled once per week from September to May. Performances are to be scheduled for 4 times per year during worship service. Additionally the Director may collaborate with other staff memvers to add individual or small ensembles (when appropriate and time permitting) for special services such as Christmas, etc., as well as even the possibility of chruch exchanges and performances at other venues.
The Director is responsible for creatively working to retain and promote membership in the Handbell choir. At the discretion of the Dirctor, consideration may also be given to the development of a Kinder Klokken choir from the children of the congregation using 2 octaves of handbells, and possibly also a chimes choir with two octaves of chimes. Bells for such groups are available.
The candidate must demonstrate skill and experience playing with and directing handbell groups and must work collaboratively with the Director of Music Ministries and with the Music Committee on performance and rehearsal scheduling. Also included is responsibility for the custodial care of the handbell and chime instruments, their cases, tables, robes, gloves, mallets, sheet music, cushions, coverings, lights, music stands, etc. and arrange for their maintenance as needed, as well as ensuring that no one other than the Choir memebrs play or handle these instruments without permission.

First Reformed Church of Scotia, Part-time Organist/Pianist
The First Reformed Church of Scotia is seeking to hire an Organist/Pianist. Salary range $12,000 to $17,500, commensurate with expericance). FRCS has a heritage of supporting and providing quality music for both sacred and secular services. The Organist/Pianist works with the Pastor(s) and Choir Director to plan musical support for the congregation’s worship. Two Sunday morning services at 8:00 am and 10:00 am. Our sanctuary supports our singing with excellent acoustics and with our June Selke Memorial Organ, a 4-manual, 132 rank hybrid (meaning both pipe and digital) organ built by Allen Ogan Sutdios of Delmar, NY and Allen Organ Company of Macungie, PA in 2013.
Per the church’s agreement with Allen Organs, the Organist/Pianist will be available for organ demonstrations and consolation to visitors and contribure to visibility of the instrument. This inculdes arranging with the organ company for performances twice aper year (on average) by a variety of artists.

Altamont Reformed Church, Part-time Organist/Choir Director
The Organist/Choir Director will be responsible for all musical aspects of worship at Altamont Reformed Church, including play the pipe organ or piano, directing the Chancel Choir, and assissting in worship service planning.
The Skills and Qualifications desired are: at least five years experience as a church organist, demonstrated ability in choral conducting, knowledge of church music especially withing the Reformed Church, familiarity with the pipe organ and its maintenance requirements, ability to sight-read hymns and simple athem accompaniments.
This position will be filled as a one-year, renewable contract at an annual salary of $11,625, payable monthly. The Organist/Choir Director is expected to serve as an ex-officio member of the Worship Life Committee and contribute to the preparation of the music ministry budget.

Per Diem Chaplain at Ellis Hospital
The per diem chaplain will provide spiritual care to patients, their families, and staff at Ellis Medicine. Ordained clergy, deacon or active lay person in a faith community of choice.
