To complete the work of organizing this assembly, the transition team of the Northeastern Middle Assembly calls all ministers and elder delegates to the assembly to an organizational meeting on Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Community Reformed Church of Colonie.

The changes to the Book of Church Order which will ecclesiastically constitute our assembly will take effect on December 31, 2026. Until this point, we are in a phase of organizing our assembly, and we have work to be done so that we are ready to participate fully in the life and ministry of the Reformed Church in America as an official assembly.
At this meeting, inaugural officers and bylaws will be presented to the assembly for approval, and reports will be received from the Transition Team and its task teams on the structure and work of the assembly for feedback. This will allow the assembly to take the necessary steps to become a legally incorporated organization.
All ministers intending to enroll in the assembly and elder delegates from each congregation intending to join the assembly are welcome to attend.…
