Update from the Upstate New York Middle Assembly Transition Team

The Transition Team of the Upstate NY Middle Assembly met for an in-person meeting on Saturday, August 9.   At this meeting, the team discussed and discerned the identity, vision, and values of our middle assembly.  Many members of the team are meeting each other for the first time, offering us a unique learning opportunity as together we begin to craft the way for our congregations to move forward in ministry together.   

The team will be working diligently over the coming months.  We have an aggressive, but doable, timeline.  Our first public output will occur at the October meeting of the Regional Synod of Albany.  

The team members are: Nancy Landrigan, Trey Tirpak, Patti Varga, Amy Katt, Randy Karcher, Steve Meyer, Amy Burdett, David Vander Wal, David Walsh, Richard Dykstra, David Patterson, Noreen Fargione, Immanuel van Tonder, Lindsey De Kruif, and Bob Hoffman.
